This tailored peshwas is constructed from the finest tissue silk and heavily embellished with Victorian style silk thread embroidery mixed with vintage applique, sequins, marori and zardozi work. This piece showcases a variety of rare handcraft techniques such as Swarovski suspension in crochet technique ( Back of the dress and dupatta). There is a fusion of traditional kundan work with shadow work resham embroidery and vintage dabka set in dreamy scalloping in the under lehnga. The dupatta is a pure organza dreamscape of hand embroidered gardens and traditional “jaali-work” done in crochet style and mukaish work details.A matching silk potli (pouch purse) with coordinating work and Mughal style tassels completes this look.
